This was early one sunny autumn morning in October. I decided to take a walk by the river in Domnarvet, Borlange, Sweden. It was quite cold and a mist was rising from the water. The trees and bushes were just coming to their most colourful time of the season with lots of red, yellow, orange and gold foliage to be seen. The water's surface was almost still which gave some beautiful reflections. As I wandered along the river bank admiring the view and enjoying the peace and quiet, a group of three mallard ducks came downstream. They noticed me and started to come in my direction. They were probably hoping that I would have some bread to offer them. This time they were out of luck so they soon went off to investigate the next person to come along.
