The Three Chimneys house where "The Railway Children" lived in the 1970 film. How wonderful it must be to live in this charming old house, knowing that it played such a key part in one of the most loved children's films of all time. I was lucky enough to spend a holiday in Haworth, Yorkshire, England. Most of the filming for The Railway Children took place in Haworth and the surrounding area. The railway scenes were filmed on the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway. Calling into the tourist information centre in Haworth, I was given a leaflet mapping out a walk that one can take, passing through many of the locations from the film. I couldn't resist the opportunity and it was one of the most exciting walks I have ever taken. I hope that one day I will get the chance to visit there again.
