Description
This painting is one of this years (2013) batch of autumn scenes local to me in Borlange, Sweden. I had already planned to paint this spot and had taken a photograph a couple of weeks earlier. That photo was just a little nearer to the houses and one of the trees in front of the house on the left, was a maple with some nice red colouring on top. Now it was completely bare. This particular week I had been out taking lots of autumn photos and wherever I went, I kept bumping into the children from one of the local kindergartens. This day was no exception. I was walking through the woods and nearly home when up they popped in front of me. I took a detour, a longer route, which lead me out of the woods at this spot. I quite liked the scene so I took some more photos before turning to walk home. As I neared my road, I could see the kindergarten children standing in the street, waiting! Aargh!!!
