Artist's Description
Living in a Blueprint is my interpretation of a description of a piece of literary work. I do often wonder what the meaning of life is and if we are following some blueprint. Just like waking from a dream and being conscious of the details of that dream fading away, I sometimes think that somewhere in my mind I know what the meaning of life is. Have you ever had a word or name on the tip of your tongue, but it just won't come out of your memory even though you know it's there? That's the feeling I get about life, but until that answer comes out, I can just look out from my blueprint on the world and wonder.
About Martin Howard
I am an English Artist living in Borlange, Sweden since 2005. I have been painting on and off since the early eighties, in oils to begin with before moving on to watercolours. I also have an interest in photography which I have often used as part of my preliminary work for my paintings. In recent months, I have had a little extra time on my hands, which has fuelled my artistic fire. I find that I am experimenting much more with my photography to create more abstract images at the same time as learning new methods of processing photographs.
