A group of traditional old farm buildings found on a nature reserve in Borlange, Sweden. These typical Swedish barns can be found by taking a walk around a lake called Bysjo. The walk is known as Bysjorundan and is quite popular although it is possible to go the whole way round without seeing another person. Apart from these beautiful barns, one can see many other scenic views and there is also a herd of Highland Cattle, kept here by the local council, to help manage the sometimes rough terrain.

I am an English Artist living in Borlange, Sweden since 2005. I have been painting on and off since the early eighties, in oils to begin with before moving on to watercolours. I also have an interest in photography which I have often used as part of my preliminary work for my paintings. In recent months, I have had a little extra time on my hands, which has fuelled my artistic fire. I find that I am experimenting much more with my photography to create more abstract images at the same time as learning new methods of processing photographs.
