When I first saw the trees, I hardly noticed them. In fact, I thought they were just a clump of bushes. Somewhere, I have a photo of the plot of land my house stands on, taken before I bought it. It must be about nine years ago now and there are no trees. Two years later, the house was completed or at least complete enough to move in. That was in September and there wasn't really much time before the first snow. The exterior of the house needed painting and there was so much to do indoors, that the garden was left untouched. Next spring, I began to level out the garden and sow some grass seeds for the lawn. I sat an ornate bench under the trees without even questioning where they had suddenly appeared from. I can't help thinking that this part of my garden is enchanted.

Stop Time With Art...
I am an English Artist living in Borlange, Sweden since 2005. I have been painting on and off since the early eighties, in oils to begin with before moving on to watercolours. In recent months, I have had a little extra time on my hands, which has fuelled my artistic fire. I find that I am experimenting much more with my photography to create more abstract images at the same time as learning new methods of processing photographs. This in turn, is influencing my ideas for paintings. Anybody visiting my website, will find a real mixture of styles and mediums and I believe, something for everybody. The reason that I paint or take...
