This was an experiment to try to photograph the split light from a dvd disc. What exactly I managed to capture I can't tell. It's not exactly a work of art, but it makes a nice abstract image and looks really cool on the products that Fine Art America offer. I love the gorgeous vivid colours in this image and a bit of fun trying to guess what exactly it is.
I am an English Artist living in Borlange, Sweden since 2005. I have been painting on and off since the early eighties, in oils to begin with before moving on to watercolours. I also have an interest in photography which I have often used as part of my preliminary work for my paintings. In recent months, I have had a little extra time on my hands, which has fuelled my artistic fire. I find that I am experimenting much more with my photography to create more abstract images at the same time as learning new methods of processing photographs.
