Description
This group of leafy foliose lichens and moss, growing on rock, caught my attention because of the lichen's blue and pink colour. I photographed the rock, enhancing the colour slightly, but it wasn't until I examined my photos later, that I noticed that the moss loosely resembled the continents of the world and the lichen was the seas. Also, I thought the lichen looked like puzzle pieces. It was nature's abstract map of the world or maybe it's just a mossy rock that I should have just walked past and ignored like everybody else.
