Description
Every year, when I finally get nagged into submission and put the Christmas tree up, I think to myself about the dreaded day when I will have to pack it all away again. I hate that day! The dark winter mornings and evenings are no longer brightened up by pretty Christmas lights, reflected in all manner of glittery decorations hanging in the tree. Just occasionally, something gets missed and is only discovered several months later. It could be a hidden Christmas card or a little santa figure, sittting on the shelf with other ornaments. I think I could be forgiven for not taking this Christmas wreath down. Firstly, it was made by a family member and was an excellent wreath. Secondly, it still looked green and fresh, after Christmas was over. A few more days wouldn't hurt? Thirdly, if there was the slightest chance that it might upset or antagonise the old witch from hell, that lives next door, then it is worth every second that it stays up!
