A macro image of a daffodil, full of soft shadows and shapes, changed to red tones. As interesting and beautiful as this image is, it demonstrates that there is no improving on the wonderful natural yellow colour of this flower.

I am an English Artist living in Borlange, Sweden since 2005. I have been painting on and off since the early eighties, in oils to begin with before moving on to watercolours. I also have an interest in photography which I have often used as part of my preliminary work for my paintings. In recent months, I have had a little extra time on my hands, which has fuelled my artistic fire. I find that I am experimenting much more with my photography to create more abstract images at the same time as learning new methods of processing photographs.
