Description
If I remember one thing from this year, 2013, it will be the autumn. Not every autumn is good. Sometimes, it's wet and windy and all the leaves blow off the trees before they have had a chance to change colour. Sometimes it gets very cold and the leaves just go brown. This year has been just perfect with a gradual change in temperature with mostly dry and sunny days. The leaves have changed colour slowly and the sun has brought out their colours magnificently. The maple trees have made a particularly fine display, but time doesn't stand still. Autumn, like the spring is a short season in Sweden. Short and sweet with maybe as little as six weeks. It's such a shame that some of the best autumn displays last just a few days. I'm trying to make the most of every day and capture as much of this wonderful season as I can. I want to gather up all the beautiful leaves and say 'don't leave'.

Martin, those touches of lavender and hints of cerulean blue tint give this piece some pure magic. I appreciate the nice background information you have given in the description, also. It adds a lot enjoyment to the work. Your title shows your sense of humor. Great work! -L/F -Sally Porter Meta Expressionist
