Bledlow is a small village in England which lies about 1½ miles (2.4 km) from Princes Risborough, Buckinghamshire at the foot of the Chiltern Hills. There are a couple of notable landmarks in the village, Holy Trinity Parish Church and The Lions Public house. Church End is the road that joins the two and it makes a very picturesque walk. This is just one view of some of the traditional red brick houses that line the road. Bledlow is a very pretty village and several places, including the church and pub have been used for filming episodes of the TV series Midsommer Murders.
I am an English Artist living in Borlange, Sweden since 2005. I have been painting on and off since the early eighties, in oils to begin with before moving on to watercolours. I also have an interest in photography which I have often used as part of my preliminary work for my paintings. In recent months, I have had a little extra time on my hands, which has fuelled my artistic fire. I find that I am experimenting much more with my photography to create more abstract images at the same time as learning new methods of processing photographs. This in turn, is influencing my ideas for paintings. Anybody visiting my website, will find a real mixture of styles and mediums and I believe, something for everybody.
