Anybody for a drop of sherry? Most people have a favourite tipple and mine is a drop of bristol cream sherry. I don't know what makes it so special. Maybe it's the wonderful rich taste or it could be the elegant blue glass bottle it comes in. Whatever it is, it has become a luxury item for me and instead of having a glass on a Sunday morning, it has become confined mostly to the festive season. I always buy a bottle for Christmas. I love this image with glass reflecting in the bottle which in turn is reflected in the golden brown sherry. I have also added a canvas texture to the image.

I am an English Artist living in Borlange, Sweden since 2005. I have been painting on and off since the early eighties, in oils to begin with before moving on to watercolours. I also have an interest in photography which I have often used as part of my preliminary work for my paintings. In recent months, I have had a little extra time on my hands, which has fuelled my artistic fire.
