Tomorrow, today will be yesterday. Not just another yesterday, but a special one. Yesterday, I went to bed with a great feeling of anticipation for the new day. It was as if it was Christmas Eve or somethng. It definitely felt as if something good was going to happen, but what? I had nothing planned and it was not anybody's birthday. I woke up to a frosty but sunny autumn morning. It was a beautiful day, one of those days that everything looks so pretty. I took my children to school and on the way home, I decided that it might be a good day to go down to the river and take a few photographs. I cycled to the river and got some very nice shots before leaving to fetch my children from school. As we walked home in warm sunshine, I was overwhelmed by the beautiful autumn images before me. It suddenly dawned on me, that there was every possibility that this was the most beautiful day I had ever seen!

I am an English Artist living in Borlange, Sweden since 2005. I have been painting on and off since the early eighties, in oils to begin with before moving on to watercolours. I also have an interest in photography which I have often used as part of my preliminary work for my paintings. In recent months, I have had a little extra time on my hands, which has fuelled my artistic fire.
