Description
Dandelions are one of the most hated weeds in the garden. Maybe it's because they are so hard to remove or maybe it's because they spread themselves so easily. Their furry-looking seed heads are such an attraction to children, unfortunately. So many times, I have caught my children with a dandelion seed head in their hand, holding it up to their lips. No no I shout, but to no avail. Too late! Another cloud of dandelion seeds floats into the air and around my garden. The flower of the dandelion is really quite pretty, I think. The lovely rich yellow blooms make quite a stunning display. Huge displays of these beautiful yellow flowers can be found in my garden, but even I dare not leave these flowers a second longer. I know that in just a few days, these flowers will turn into thousands of airbourne seeds that will lead to even more weeds in my garden. Time to take out the lawnmower and not a moment to lose! Before I started mowing, I got down on my knees and took one last photograph to remember them by. Just one thing left to say. Off with their heads!
